INSPIRING STRENGTH & BUILDING community through judgment-free dance.
we are a woman and non-binary run organization. If you have any suggestions on how we can make our space more inclusive or accessible…

the ddpp universe
in 2006, the first ddpp started in chicago as a space for women to dance like no one was watching. since then, we’ve expanded our genders and our community. through word of mouth alone, over a dozen ddpp™ chapters have cropped up all over america and abroad including london, san fransisco, and new york city.
dancers love the liberating atmosphere where they’re free to goof around, shake their bodies without objectification, and feel good about who they are. you can read all about them and more at chicago’s dance dance party party website.
los angeles
since 2013, our dance squad, a group of volunteers run this thang, has worked to bring angelenos the magic that is ddppla. we even got a write-up in The LA Times as place to make friends offline.
this is a place where you can unplug, connect with others, and get back in touch with your body. to learn more about the experience, check out testimonials from some of our dancers Or listen to some of our playlists.
